Introducing the Bring The Mic Songwriting Competition, an exciting opportunity to showcase your songwriting skills and win big.

Competition Details

• The competition runs for 12 weeks, starting TBD, 2025

• All submissions must be received by TBD, 2025

• The winner will receive a prize of $500 and 50% song royalty

• The top 10 songs will have the chance to enter into a royalty deal if chosen

How to Enter

• Visit BringTheMic.com/song-submission and upload your original song

• Include your name, email address, phone number, and a brief biography about yourself

• Pay the $20 entry fee after completing the online form

 

Competition Rules

• Only original songs permitted

• Songs must be submitted in mp3 format

• Songs must not exceed 5 minutes

• Songs must be in English

• Contestants must be at least 18 years old or have parent/guardian enter with minor

• Contestants must own the rights to their songs

Judging Criteria

• Lyrics - 30%

• Melody - 30%

• Originality - 20%

• Structure - 10%

• Overall Impression - 10%

We are seeking songs that are well-written, catchy, and have the potential to succeed in the music industry.

Our judges will select the top 10 songs, which Bring The Mic will reveal on TBD, 2025.
