Introducing the Bring The Mic Songwriting Competition, an exciting opportunity to showcase your songwriting skills and win big.

Competition Details

• The competition starts Aug 1st 2025

• All submissions must be received by Dec 1st 2025

• The winners will receive a prize of $500 and 50% song publishing deal

• The top 10 songs will have the chance to enter into a publishing deal if chosen

How to Enter

• Visit BringTheMic.com/song-submission and upload your original song

• Include your name, email address, phone number, and a brief biography about yourself

• Pay the $20 entry fee after completing the online form

 

Competition Rules

• Only original songs permitted

• Songs must be submitted in mp3 format

• Songs must not exceed 5 minutes

• Songs must be in English

• Contestants must be at least 18 years old or have parent/guardian enter with minor

• Contestants must own the rights to their songs

Judging Criteria

• Lyrics - 30%

• Melody - 30%

• Originality - 20%

• Structure - 10%

• Overall Impression - 10%

We are seeking songs that are well-written, catchy, and have the potential to succeed in the music industry.

Our judges will select the top 10 songs, which Bring The Mic will reveal on Jan 10th, 2025 at THE FINALS..
